The President expressed his deep gratitude for the invitation and the warm welcome, emphasizing the friendship, mutual trust and multi-faceted cooperation between the Republic of Somaliland and Taiwan.
The President underlined that Somaliland and Taiwan share strategic views and interests founded on cooperation, development, democracy, innovation and the strengthening of relations between the two countries and their two peoples.
This dinner formed part of the meetings and diplomatic activities that the President of the Republic of Somaliland is conducting in Washington, D.C., strengthening Somaliland's relations with international friends and partners.
